Sycamore Farm is a “nice quiet get away from it all” site.
The field is a gently sloping field, but it is very easy to find level spots. It is not really overlooked by any buildings and although you can see the main road over the fields, we never heard it at all.
My favourite thing about this site is the small wildlife garden with a small pool through the gate at the end, where you can sit and watch the butterflies and dragonflies.
And the kids love the tyre swing and zip slide hidden in the trees where they can play for hours. Mine where enjoying themselves so much, they didn’t even realised it had started to rain!
It’s a handy site for visiting Alderley Edge and Macclesfield, and for those looking a bargain, Chelford Car Boot Sale is pretty close too.
If you are looking for a nice quiet weekend and there is a rally on at Sycamore, it could be just the site you are looking for.
